Kylina Chalack

Raised on a cow/calf and horse ranch she had success in the show ring with her 4H steers. She had much success in her junior years in ponies, hunters, equitation and jumpers working alongside her mom, Cathy. ULTERRA MELODY, at 5, was the first home bred pony for her to win Alberta Hunter, Equitation and medal champion in one year. To follow that, her first Canadian Warmblood, DAMARIS NHF also won Alberta champion children’s hunter, equitation and medal winner in her second year of showing!

She selected and developed her own ALLGOR from Czech Republic and reached her goals of competing in U25 and FEI 3* 1.45m with great placings! Cathy has raised and imported over 200 horses and Kylina has shown and assisted in their development. Kylina most recently developed and showed JIRETTO to 1.35m.

She graduated an Ag Business Major from the Fresno State University, California. She was on the Fresno NCAA Equestrian team four years winning MVP along the way.

Kylina has had the good fortune to have been coached by /worked with and be mentored by Trish Mrakawa of Willow Grove Stables, Shauna Cook of Carousel Ridge; Ellicia Edgar of Valleyfield Farms; Morley Abby and Joie Gatlin; Amy Millar and Ian Millar of Millar BrookeFarms; Ingenium Farms - Tasha Visokay and Kyle Timm (who incidentally got his start with Mom, Cathy, in Pony Club!!)

UPDATE: New adventure November 2024 for one year as Kylina travels to France to work for Kyle Timm and his team in Europe. The opportunity is exciting and we wish her great success as she accumulates valuable knowledge and experience in the show rings in Europe.
